With the support of local NGOs, World Fit For Children has financed the construction and annual maintenance of of a primary school in the Nadia District, West Bengal, India.
Project Objectives:
1) Identification of school drop out and illiterate girl child and boy child from the community women self help groups. 2) To provide basic education to girl child and boy child through establishment of gender based co-education school in the community. 3) To provide health care facilities to school children. 4) To provide nutrition supplement to school children. 5) To provide education and recreation materials to school children. 6) To promote and protect the rights of every child as set by the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child.
